To staff, pupils, parents and govenors. Heartfelt thanks for the numerous gifts, cards and best wishes bestowed on me during my last few days in school. Rather than 'retirement' I have tried to think of leaving more as 'moving on' to a new chapter in life; spending two days a week looking after my grandson and seeing a bit more of my brothers and sister (who are now also retired). All that plus catching up with housework, gardening etc etc. Phew!!
